iiyama announces the release of a new desktop monitor, the ProLite XUB2492HSN-B1 featuring a USB-C dock for improved usability and user comfort.

One dock to rule them all: the 24” IPS ProLite XUB2492HSN-B1 equipped with USB-C dock is now available 

November 2020 – iiyama announces the release of a new desktop monitor, the ProLite XUB2492HSN-B1 featuring a USB-C dock for improved usability and user comfort.

Equipped with the USB-C dock, the XUB2492HSN can be connected to your laptop with just a USB-C cable to both make sure the laptop is charged and connected to a wired network and a signal from the laptop is sent to the monitor. This solution keeps your workspace clean and tidy and saves you the hassle of unplugging and plugging numerous cables back each time you disconnect your laptop from the set-up. With the additional USB-ports, your mouse, keyboard or webcam can also be connected to the monitor.

The XUB2492HSN features IPS panel technology guaranteeing wide viewing angles and natural, highly accurate colours. The Blue Light Reducer and Flicker Free technologies increase visual comfort and diminish the negative influence of the blue light emitted by the screen on the user’s eyes and general well-being.  The height adjustable stand with pivot functionality allowing rotation to both sides, means the content might be displayed horizontally or vertically and makes it easy to create multi-monitor setups depending on your personal needs.

The multi-monitor setups can be created in two ways – using either the USB-C or DisplayPort connections from the laptop. With the MST (Multi-Stream Transport) mode in the monitor enabled, the maximum Daisy Chain length in extension mode is 2 displays for the USB-C connection and 4 displays for the DisplayPort connection. This key feature makes it possible to turn your standard desktop setup into a multi-monitor solution worthy of any professional configuration.

The ProLite XUB2492HSN is the first monitor from the iiyama 92N series with a USB-C dock.
A 27’’ FHD (XUB2792HSN) and QHD (XUB2792QSN) version will be introduced in March 2021.
